"This month marks my 20th year working here at Gateway Academy. I began when it was in its original location and called The Learning Lab. There, while teaching Biology, I started the very first Art Program which continues today. At Gateway, students have one to one, individualized teaching but also have the camaraderie of clubs, and parties for special occasions. It is this unique learning environment which is so important for our students because we tailor our instruction to each one while helping them develop the good habits which will ensure their successful futures. With my MFA in Art, my BS degree in Biology and Chemistry, and my love for Geometry, I intend to continue teaching at Gateway Academy as long as I can because here I have found my purpose!"
